About Me
I am a farmer's wife and daughter, mamma to three outdoor loving kids, entrepreneur, and farming partner. I love horses, gardening, the outdoors, and animals. I don't spend a whole lot of time inside in the summer, and spend all winter dreaming of summer. My favorite question has always been why. I was the average mid-twenties woman. Until 2016, when I was launched onto a path of finding answers, wellness, and a better path for my family.

Over the years I have learn many things about the various animals in my care. It started with sheep when I was still in grade school and I've only grown from there. Now I love sharing and teaching others what I've learned over the years about caring for animals. Some I've learned in the academic world, some from seasoned cowboys, and some from the school of hard knocks.

After over a year of healing, from a miscarriage and then traumatic birth, I learned how to listen to my body, and how to build it up, advocating for myself and my kids. I remembered the importance of nutrition, researching and praying through decisions. I made changes in our home, choosing products that helped our bodies. I am continually learning and sharing what I've learned with others.

After our second I stayed home instead of returning to work. How were we going to make ends meet on half the income? The garden I had as a hobby became a primary source of food for our family. And thus started my journey to self-sufficiency. Every year since I’ve added something, either a new vegetable, fruit, or animal.  It all started with a humble garden and the desire to feed my family.

I love teaching others what I have learned. Every momma needs some help right? Everyone should be thriving, not just surviving. I love helping others find a different way to their answers, and thriving.
